Expecting to fail on our first attempt, we shot an image of my assistant’s son’s tricycle. The paper was cut too large and didn’t quite fit into the developer—that is why you see the marks along the top. The filters weren’t properly aligned, which caused the light flares. But none of that mattered. It was the 'WOW' moment we had been chasing for so long.
